I just lost one of my favorite slippers because I left them outside the hostel door for a second. Last week I lost a pair of sneakers. Is this a common problem? What are the unwritten rules about leaving your stuff outside? Are there any safe spots, or should I just keep everything inside? Is it even safe for me to leave my clothes on the hanging lines?
