Anyone else feel like they picked the wrong university?

Yeah, I remember sitting in my hostel during first year thinking, “Did I really make the right choice coming here?” Everything felt off — the environment, the course, the people. It wasn’t what I had imagined when I was applying. I’d scroll through Instagram and see friends in other universities looking like they were thriving, and I’d start comparing, wondering if I missed out. I even thought about transferring at one point, but I was too scared to start over.
But over time, things slowly shifted. I found my small circle, got involved in clubs, and began to understand my course better. The campus still has its flaws, no lie, but I learned how to make it work for me. What helped most was focusing on what I could control — my growth, my pace, and my path. Looking back now, I’m actually glad I stayed. It taught me how to adjust, push through discomfort, and make something good out of a rocky start.
