Where do students hang out between classes?
Hugo
In my first weeks at Chiromo, I had no clue where to go between classes. I’d either sit awkwardly outside lecture halls or wander around pretending to be busy on my phone. It felt uncomfortable because I didn’t know anyone yet and I didn’t want to seem out of place. The library felt too serious, and I was too shy to walk into random places alone. I honestly felt a bit lost and disconnected in those gaps between lectures.
But as time went on, I discovered a few chill spots. The benches near the Zoology department became my go-to—they’re shaded and not too crowded. Sometimes I’d go to the Chiromo canteen, even if it was just to grab a soda and sit. When I made a few friends, we’d hang out at the lawns or even sneak into the library group study areas to chat or nap. It gets easier once you figure out your comfort zone and realize other students are just as lost as you in the beginning.
