How is campus freedomšš
Mercy
At first, campus freedom felt like the best thing everāno one checking what time I got home, no one reminding me to study or even to eat. But that same freedom quickly became overwhelming. I didnāt know how to balance everything. I stayed out too late, skipped some classes thinking it wouldnāt matter, and spent money like I had a never-ending supply. It caught up with me fastāmy grades dipped, I felt drained, and I realized freedom without discipline is a trap. I thought I was enjoying life, but I was actually burning out in silence.
It took a hard reset for me to come back from that. I had to set my own structureāscheduling study time, budgeting my HELB money, and even making time to rest properly. Campus freedom can be amazing, but only when you learn how to manage yourself. I stopped comparing myself to others and started setting my own pace. Thatās when I truly started enjoying campus lifeānot because I could do anything, but because I finally understood what was actually good for me.
