Anyone else feel like they picked the wrong university?

I used to wake up some days and genuinely wonder if I had made a huge mistake choosing this university. Everything felt off — the environment, the people, the courses, even the vibe just didn’t feel like “me.” I would scroll through social media and see people at other campuses looking like they were thriving while I felt stuck and invisible. I questioned my decision constantly, especially when classes got hard or I felt isolated. It was hard not to feel like I had chosen wrong, and for a long time, I carried that guilt silently because I didn’t want to seem ungrateful or like I was giving up.
But eventually, I realized that no university is perfect — it’s what you make of the experience. I started joining clubs, reaching out to classmates, and slowly finding my own little circle. The more I engaged, the more I discovered hidden opportunities and supportive people I had overlooked. It took time and effort, but now, looking back, I know I didn’t pick the wrong place — I just hadn’t grown into it yet. The discomfort actually pushed me to figure out who I was and how to stand on my own, and that’s a lesson I wouldn’t trade for anything.
